Location: South East of Akwa Ibom, approximately 50 kilometres from Uyo. It is bound in the North by Uruan, in the East by Okobo, in the West by Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Areas.

Akpan Ibanga - Bassey

Born on the 23rd September, 1958. He hails from NsitAtai. He attended Salvation Army Primary School, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1974.

He went on to the Comprehensive Secondary School, and then to the University of Uyo, where he bagged a BA in Communication Arts in 1999.

His work experience started as Sales Manager, Esset Petroleum Nig. Ltd., Uyo and later became Chairman/CEO, Ibman Pukka Petroleum Nig. Ltd, Uyo.

He is involved in various organisations and is President General, Ikot Uyo Nsit Progressive Union. World Wide Coordinator Nsit Atai L.G.A, Godwill Akpabio/Ekpotu Campaign Organisation. Patron, Ekpotu Youth Vanguard, AKS. Patron, Friend of Godswill Akpabio in Nigeria FOGAN, Nsit Atai Chapter. Patron of many NGO `5. He is married with Children .
