Mfon David Eno Nkanteen
He hails from Ikot Aba, in Ikpa Ibom, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area. Born on 29th March, 1960, Hon. Nkanteen has his primary education at Ladi Lak Institute, Secondary education at Etinan Institute and later Onna Peoples High School, Onna in 1981. He also attended Federal School of Arts and Science, Suleja, Niger State, for Advanced Levels in 1986. In 1988, he gained admission into the Kwara State Polytechnic and obtained the National Diploma in Accountancy in 2000.
Hon. Nkanteen holds of Post Graduate Diploma of the Lagos State University, Lagos, and is currently undergoing studies, in the same University, for the award of Master of Business Administration, MBA, degree in Business Administration with specialty in Marketing.
He is a member of many professional bodies including Institute of Chartered Management Accountants (ACMA), 2000; Nigerian Institute of Management, Chartered (AMNIM) 2006; Certified Institute of Cost Management of Nigeria (ACICM) 2006; Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria (ACKGPAN) 2005; and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), in view.
He has worked as assistant store keeper in Duraplast Industries Nig. Ltd.; auditor in Henry Emeka. Oligbo & Co., a firm of chartered accountants, from 1987 and left as audit supervisor in 1990; Allied Bank staff from 1990 and left in 1995 as an officer. In 1996, he started a mini-farm business which has today become an integrated/mechanized farm in four States (Oyo, Ogun, Lagos, and Akwa Ibom (Ikot Aba). The farm has over 180 staff, graduates and non-graduates. He resigned as the Chairman/Chief Executive to contest election.
He had also served as the Parish accountant, Area accountant, and returning officer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Lagos Province.
