Elder (barr) Ikpe J. Udoaka
He was born in June 1954 in Utu Idung Akpa Udom, Etim Ekpo Local Government Area. He had his primary education in Government Primary School, Utu Etim Ekpo from 1962 to 1966 and 1970 to 1972. He was admitted into private tuition courses of Correspondence College, Northern Annang Secondary Commercial School, Utu Etim Ekpo, as an external candidate from 1972 to 1980 where he obtained his WASC.
Elder Udoaka attended the University of Cross River State, Uyo, from 1983-1987 and University of Uyo from 1994 to 1998 where he obtained B.Sc in Political Science/Public Administration in 1987 and graduated in Law in 1998, and was called to the Bar in 1999.
He had appointments with Nigerian Police Force in 1974, Cross River Basin Development Authority, Practical Production Activity (PPA), Calabar in 1986.
He has also held the following positions in the public service: Divisional Admin Officer, Uyo Division in 1989; Divisional Pay Master, Uyo Division, 1989; Divisional Crime Officer, Uyo Division in 1990; Command Staff Officer, State Headquarters, 1991; Operational Officer, Itu Division in 1992; State Armament Officer, 1992; Anti-fraud Section, State CID, Uyo, ·1993; O/C Anticar Theft Department 1994; O/C Homicide Section, State CID, 1994; and Divisional Police Officer, "D" Division in 2000.
Others include O/C Command Legal Section, Uyo, 2001; Divisional Police Officer (DPO), "B" Division in 2002; DPO, Eket in 2003; and finally O/C Team A X Squad Section Force CID, Abuja.
Barr Udoaka had also attended several courses, namely: cadet Assistant Superintendent I Police Academy, Kaduna in 1988; Leadership and Citizenship Training, Jos in 1988; Advanced Detective Course, Jos in 1993; Speech Writing Course at University of Lagos in 1994; and also a course on Towards Free and Fair Elections in Abuja, 2002.
He is happily married with children.
