Akwa Ibom State ministries make government institutions boundless and ubiquitous with people focused and result oriented service departments that answer the needs for administration, the economy, infrastructures, endowed natural resources, and social development. These ministries are the strategic pillars on which robust sector operations that connect government to the people are built, they are the major machineries for delivery of government services.

Our ministries develop and implement state-wide development strategies with greater social impact able to fast track the state into a vibrant economy with worthwhile private enterprises and prosperous engagements. These ministries with their operational priorities create the right climate for administration, commerce, structural development, ecological protection, and social development.

With the state just past the commencement of Uncommon Transformation engineered by the present administration since 2007 and into an industrialisation agenda and having successfully executed over 3,000 inter-ministerial projects across all Akwa Ibom communities we will see defining moments in the service delivery strategies of the state's ministries as they get more interdependent and work more to realise their institutional tasks and targets.

"As I speak today, this administration, in just one year in office has commissioned at least, 256 projects.  One major issue is that we are not developing Akwa Ibom for people to praise us, we are developing Akwa Ibom for ourselves. I live here, my house is here, my children come from here, I have moved my things from Lagos to Akwa Ibom, if I do not have good roads, where will I drive my cars, if there are no good schools here, where will my children go to, if there are no good hospitals, if Iam sick where will I go to, so, people don’t understand, we must have recreational facilities, so that we can take time to relax, bring international events into the state, and turn AkwaIbom to an exhibition that people would come and watch."
